STORING
As we approach our next hurdle, storage, we briefly take a sigh of relief that the crops are out of the ground and nestled into their new home before frost, rain and snow move in for the next few months. But not to pause for too long because the harvest in storage still needs our attention. All interest is now dedicated to the storage facilities on temperature, humidity and pure appearance of the pile. Daily checks are performed on buildings and pile quality by quick and trained eyes, focusing on signs and symptoms of the units. Ventilation systems are heavily monitored as well to make sure no malfunction will compromise any quality on our product.
