CULTIVATING

After the crops are in and the growing process begins, cultivating and hilling are done to make sure the plants have the best growing conditions possible during crucial root/tuber initiation time. If the conditions we have control over are done right, it benefits the field when the growing conditions beyond our control are at their worst.
